1. General Terms

Supplier reserves the right to refuse or cancel booking at any time if you do not meet their renting requirements. Please ensure that there are sufficient funds available at your debit or credit card. If your license was issued outside the country of collection, you must also bring your passport with you when collecting the vehicle. All additional drivers must meet the same license requirements as the main driver. The first driver is included in the rates but there is a daily charge for each additional driver. Child seats available on request. Airport is offered free of charge within office hours (08:00 am – 23:00pm). The vehicle is covered by roadside assistance for any mechanical faults. If the call out is due to driver negligence, for example lost keys or running out of fuel, the renter will be charged a breakdown call out fee. NO-SHOW – A failure to collect vehicle prior to your reserved pickup time and date, might incur at minimum a no-show fee. Vehicle must be returned at or before the expiry of the term of hire and should be returned in the same condition as when rented, normal wear and tear excepted. You may be required to pay local tolls or highway fees, depending on where you intend to drive. Excessive dirt (garbage, liquids, sand, salts, etc.) is not allowed inside the vehicle. Smoking is not permitted in the vehicle. All vehicles must be driven on asphalt or tarmacked roads.

2. Driving license requirements

The customer must present a valid driving license issued and held for at least one (1) year. The driving license must be accepted by the nation where the vehicle will be delivered. A national driving license is required for European Union (E.U.) citizens. Customers visiting from outside of the European Union must present, upon arrival, a valid International Driving Permit (IDP) accompanied by the National Driving License of their respective nation.

3. Age Requirements

The renter’s or driver’s minimum age must be 21 years old for car groups A, B, C, E, G and 23years old for cars of any other group.

4. Minimum rental period

3 days to any destination on the island & 5 to the airport

5. Insurances

Collision Damage Waiver (C.D.W.) Included in price | With Excess C.D.W. Insurance Covers:
All the damages to third parties (Third Party Insurance)
All damages EXCEPT damages or lost keys, tires, wheels, mirrors, windows, windscreen, interior accessories & undercarriage of the vehicle Notes for C.D.W. Insurance:
The excess amount is different per car:
300€ for categories A, B
500€ for categories C, D, E, J
400€ for categories G
800€ for category E(plus), J(plus), G(plus), F(7Seater)
1000€ for category F(plus 9Seater).

CDW is not valid when driving under the influence of alcohol,intoxicants or interfering medicine, speeding,without a valid driving license or in a traffic violation. Also does not cover damage to the registration plates and use of wrong fuel (Diesel instead of unleaded petrol or vise versa;

6.Additional Driver

Additional drivers must meet all renter requirements. Additional drivers can be added to the contract at any rental branch. The daily surcharge per additional driver is 5.00€ The maximum number of additional drivers permitted is 2.

7.After Hours Service

After hours is a service provided to pick up and/or drop off a vehicle outside the opening hours. An additional charge of 50.00€ including airport fee applies and must be paid on the spot at the rental.

8. Payment Options

You can pay upon arrival by Card or in Cash. Deposit Amount The deposit can be paid online from our website with credit, debit, and prepaid cards. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Diners & Discover. All payments made using the card are processed through the electronic payment platform of “Nexi e-Commerce” of Nexi Payments Greece S.A. and uses TLS 1.2 encryption protocol encryption with 128-bit (Secure Sockets Layer – SSL). Encryption is a way of coding the information until it reaches its recipient, who will be able to decode it using the appropriate key. Also, the deposit amount can be deposited in our bank account.

9. VAT (24%) & Legal Taxes

VAT 24% and all legal taxes are included in car rental.

10. Fuel Policy

The Renter is obliged to return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel as it has been when collected. In the case of returning the vehicle with less fuel, the renter will be charged with the fuel difference. No refunds apply when returning vehicles with more fuel.

11. Driving out of island

You are allowed to drive our car rentals outside Corfu, but first you must contact Corfu Traffic Rentals and pay the Off Island Permission Fee, otherwise you cannot drive them outside the island of Corfu and you are liable to any damage or loss caused.

12. Ferrying the car

Ferrying the car is not allowed without prior written authorization of our company. For the written authorization and the insurance coverage for out of the island there is an extra charge.

13. Traffic Fines

All traffic fines resulting from violation of the Greek traffic law during the rental period are at the renter’s expense. Failure to report or pay for the fines results in details sent to the authorities to send on the fine with penalties.

14. Cancellation Policy

Reservations paid online can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before vehicle collection. In case of cancellation after that time or in case of non show the full paid amount is not refundable. Reservations paid upon arrival can be cancelled at any time.
